Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Pavlov collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
We collect information you provide directly, including: account details (email address, display name), pet profiles (name, species, breed, age, weight), health records and notes you enter, and symptom descriptions you share with the AI assistant. We also automatically collect usage data (features used, session duration), device information (operating system, device model), and crash reports to help us improve the app.
We use your information to provide and operate the Pavlov service, personalise care recommendations based on your pet's profile, send care reminders and notifications you configure, respond to your support requests, analyse usage patterns to improve features, and comply with legal obligations.
When you use the AI health guidance or pet care assistant, the information you provide (including pet details and symptom descriptions) is processed to generate a response. We do not use your personal health conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent. Conversations may be reviewed in anonymised form to monitor for safety and quality.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with: trusted service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing) bound by confidentiality agreements; law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law; and with your explicit consent for any other purpose.
Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest on our secure cloud infrastructure. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccuracies, request deletion of your data, receive a portable copy of your data, and withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.
Pavlov is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
The app integrates with third-party services such as analytics providers, cloud storage, and payment processors. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party service you interact with through Pavlov.
Our mobile app does not use traditional browser cookies. We may use device identifiers and anonymised analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the user experience. You may opt out of analytics data collection in the app settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Pavlov after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
